Dr. Tarek Rashdan – Principal Dentist & Practice Owner
Dr Rashdan studied Dentistry at The University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and graduated with a Masters of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in 1997. He then went on to do his Graduate Diploma in implants at Sydney University, followed by The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Fellowship.
Dr Rashdan began working in the UK but moved to Australia to work in Sydney, Wagga Wagga and finally moved to Port Macquarie in 2010. He started working at Hastings Dental Centre in 2010 and became the Practice Owner and Principal Dentist in 2011.
Dr Rashdan has a special interest in Dental Implants and Aesthetic Rehabilitation and is frequently keeping himself up to date with the latest in Dental Technology. We pride Dr Rashdan in his empathy with all patients which allows them to feel at ease in their appointments. His relaxed and modern techniques allow all patients to feel comfortable in their dental visits.
Outside of work, Dr Rashdan enjoys spending time with his family and visiting friends.
Dr Huda Alkinani
Dr Huda studied Dentistry at Baghdad University and graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001. She then went on to complete her OTC and ADC in Melbourne, which she finished in 2005. Dr Huda began working in Melbourne but moved to Sydney to work in 2006. Dr Huda then moved to Port Macquarie in 2014 and started working at Hastings Dental Centre in 2023 where she instantly became a much loved part of the team.
Dr Huda has a special interest in Paediatric Dentistry – she loves kids!! She attends course’s often to keep up to date with the latest in Dental Technology. We pride Dr Huda in her kindness and the positive energy that she brings to Hastings Dental Centre. Her gentle nature and extensive knowledge allows patients to feel comfortable during their appointments. For patients that feel anxious about dental treatment, Dr Huda offers Nitrous Oxide. Commonly known as ‘Happy Gas’, Nitrous Oxide is a mild sedative used in dentistry to help patients feel at ease during dental treatment.
Outside of work, Dr Huda enjoys cooking, taking care of her family and spending time with her birds.
